The Battle of Saragarhi 1897, by Raj Singh Tattal (for the Saragarhi Society)

To commemorate Saraghari 120, one of our projects through the “Saragarhi Society” has been to depict the bravery of the 21 Sikhs in art form.

We commissioned ‪”Pentacular” artist Raj Singh Tattal to show the men at the post in a vivid and engaging way, centred around the key leader of Havildar Ishar Singh.

Next week the A1 artwork will be unveiled at the British Sikh Association dinner, to be attended by senior military and politician figures. The artwork, one of a limited edition of 10, will be auctioned for the Combat Stress charity on the night! If you’re attending, bid high.

Let us know your thoughts and get in touch if you’d like to bid or purchase a print.
